Arun’s Memoir reflects his journey of struggles and tribulations by navigating them with incredible zeal, courage and determination to overcome them with the voice that has achieved a lot although faced with unsurmountable difficulties of life. My thoughts of his book….are…
Each of us has a unique part to play in facing the world from the day we are born. Reading Arun’s memoirs for me reflected that he played more than a unique part at any given moment. He had two options: (1) to step forward to face adverse challenges from the very beginning; or (2) to step back not to do anything. Arun chose 1st option and demonstrated by not passively face the world. His story is of his voice of own unique challenges that he encountered and how he overcame them by navigating the maze of difficulties. These are quality of earnestness. Just as ripples spread out when a single pebble is dropped into water, Arun’s account of his life in this bok has had far-reaching effects on people whose lives he touched. I read “Out of My Way Polio!” with reverence and humility.
A true demonstration of a practical life lesson that what stops one is not visible, it’s what’s suppressed inside them. This is an inspirational story of a great man packaged in a broken body. He has managed to use his inside strength to bring hope to many who may feel disadvantaged in anyway or shape by saying all things are possible if you don’t suppress the person inside you.
When this goes on Bollywood, let me know I want to see the premiere.
This eye-opening book expresses the unique survival instincts we probably all possess to overcome adversity. Arun Patel found his survival instinct in his young years, propelling him to be what I suspect would have always risen from his strong-minded attitude and need to be what he wanted to be. Realistic, determined, and never loses his spirit to overcome trials. He had 💯% in my humble opinion done this. You are so aware that the end of this book is a new beginning a new challenge. It’s a read that makes you realise if you can get your head sorted you can excel.
A brilliant read.
A very uplifting read with easy to inspire and empower every student, teacher, parent…should be made available in every school, college, and public library. Need an audio version of the book as well….can the author be encouraged to produce one?
Thank you for covering so many facets of life with humility.
